Precision Piecing in Quilting, Class - Thursday, Oct 23 - 10:30am to 4:00pm

Having trouble to getting your seams to match and your points to line up perfectly? Are your blocks too big or too small?  These are common problems that can be avoided with precision piecing that you'll learn in this class!

Precision piecing in quilting involves techniques and tips for achieving accurate seams, points, and overall accuracy in quilt construction. You’ll learn to use specific tools, careful fabric preparation, and precise sewing and pressing techniques all of which will help with precision in your quilt-making.

We'll work on a large quilt block that builds on several smaller simple blocks as a vehicle to achieve neat and precise sewing. Our goal will be to make 3-4 blocks which can be made into a table runner.
