Seeing Colour, Workshop - Saturday, October 26 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm

The Seeing Colour class is about looking at fabric to see beyond the surface patterns to visualizing the possibilities the colour dimensions can offer you.  You'll spend time sorting through bolts of fabric in the shop for you to consider how they might trigger quilting and textile art ideas.

If you have any unused panels or large printed backing fabrics, bring them along so we can think about how you might use them in original, perhaps unintended, ways!

No sewing machine or sewing tools needed for this workshop - although you might want a camera/smart phone camera so you can take photos to remind you about the ideas we explore.

This is going to be the perfect class for those of us who don't enjoy or get stressed out about the fabric selection process, and open our minds to seeing colour in a different way.
